Our timber roof systems can be installed on any wall, from traditional 2x6 construction, to a log wall system. Using a variety of standard truss systems our planners, designers, and craftspeople can create truly unique homes.

One of the biggest benefits is that a builder with no prior timber framing experience can easily install one of our finely crafted Timber Rooms. When we demonstrate our Timber Systems at trade shows for architects, they get excited when they see how easy it is to integrate our Timber Roof Systems into traditional 2x6 stud wall framing.

Each hand-crafted timber truss displays a strength and architectural dimension not available with any other single aesthetic or structural element. Our standard truss systems are designed to be economically integrated into any structure regardless of what type of wall system you choose. We can also create custom timber trusses unique to your project.

Structural timbers are available in White Pine, Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir, and Oak. Our standard trusses can span widths from 8 feet up to 36 feet and from 4/12 pitch to 20/12 pitch with on-center spacing of 4 feet through 12 feet. Timbers are crafted and fitted together in our shop to assure a precision fit, then sanded, disassembled, labeled, and carefully packaged for delivery.

When trusses are reassembled at your site, a crane can usually install them in less than a day. Our full Roof System includes your timber trusses, and your choice of tongue and groove wood ceiling decking and insulation, or structural insulated panels with gypsum board.

To further your architectural statement, order your timber trusses with a decorative package. Options include curved struts, sculpted king post and chamfered edges.

Timber Fastening Options

We enjoy working with both mortise and tenon joinery and metal fasteners. There are many different ways to build timber structures and many fastening options. We have supplied large trusses utilizing steel fasteners for commercial projects as well as decorative reproduction timber frame trusses with carved bracing and finials for castle architecture. We remain flexible to meet your architect's or engineer's specifications.
